CARHARTT WIP
Carhartt was founded in 1889 by Hamilton Carhartt with the motto: "An honest value for an honest dollar." Quickly, its durable workwear became a staple for American laborers. In 1989, German designers Edwin and Salomée Faeh launched Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP), a streetwear division targeting Europe and Asia, bringing the iconic brand to international markets. Carhartt WIP reinterprets its classics for a modern audience, with pieces ranging from canvas jackets and graphic t-shirts to accessories and sportswear. Its diverse catalog embodies the spirit of contemporary Americana culture, while remaining true to its industrial roots and authentic aesthetic.
